Case Study No. 007

GR Trading.

A tinplate logistics company needed a brand as disciplined as its operation. Alok built the GR Trading identity from the industry itself: the rectangle is the sheet, the circle is the coil, and together they form a mark that carries from business card to building.

The Challenge

Industrial logistics brands default to clip-art globes and swooshes. GR Trading moves steel between mills and markets; the identity had to read as precise, global, and permanent to the manufacturers and mills it works with.

The Approach

The mark is drawn from the product itself: the rectangle represents the tinplate sheet, the circle the coil, composing the letterforms of the full life cycle from raw material to lids, caps, and ends. Nothing decorative; every element earns its place. The system runs black and white across cards, workwear, signage, and the website.
